Daniel F. Kelly, is a Staff Appraiser with Michael Haberman Associates, Inc. and has been active in real estate from 2005 to present with responsibilities ranging from loan broker, sales and/or appraisals. Daniel is a graduate of the Community College of Vermont and currently hold a NYS Appraiser Assistant License and a NYS Real Estate Salesperson License.
Daniel’s real estate experience started in 2005 in Vermont as a loan broker specializing in the Mobile Home industry. He then moved into sales after obtaining his Vermont Real Estate Salesperson License. After returning to his hometown of Long Island, Daniel continued real estate sales and formed a team which was responsible for the listing, sales and leases of both residential and commercial property throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Upon joining Michael Haberman Associates, Inc. Daniel’s main focus has been in the Small Claims Assessment Review department preparing cases for hearings in Nassau and Suffolk County. The department represents village and townships throughout Nassau and Suffolk, totaling over 100,000 parcels eligible for Small Claims proceedings, of which approximately 12,000 cases are handled. Daniel also assists Assessors in multiple municipalities for Board of Assessment Review, annual building permit adjustments and the annual reassessment and annual assessment roll updates.
Daniel is an acting monitor of the revaluation project being performed by Tyler Technologies in Westchester County in the Townships of Greenburgh, Ossining and North Salem and has assisted in neighborhood delineation and data collection procedures for equestrian properties. Daniel has also developed a statistical outlier analysis to ensure data collection is accurate and bring attention to potential anomalies.
Daniel also assists in the collection and analysis of sales for various commercial, residential and land appraisals for multiple purposes, including, but not limited to, tax certiorari, condemnation, estate, matrimonial and asset management. Additionally, he inspects and develops property descriptions for various commercial and land appraisals.
